Lanin Law P.C. Successful! Mortgage Loan Modifications With Chase and Residential Credit Services

Our firm has just obtained loan modifications, approved by our clients and their lenders, with two different lenders/servicers: Chase and Residential Credit Services (RCS). The Chase loan mod is a temporary trial agreement that will hopefully lead to a permanent one, at which time we will enter into a stipulation with lender’s counsel to discontinue a pending foreclosure action in the Suffolk Supreme Court on Long Island, and to cancel the lis pendens. The RCS loan mod is a permanent agreement that will resolve a pending foreclosure action in the Nassau Supreme Court, also on Long Island. We are extremely pleased with the results. In both cases, it took at least one year to get these agreements.
