SCOTT LANIN – GUITAR & MUSIC GALLERY

BACKGROUND

When Scott is not being a lawyer or martial arts instructor, he is a part-time rock star. A self-taught musician, Scott has been playing rock, blues, and folk guitar for 40 years. He has played in several bands over the years. He plays acoustic and electric guitar and is currently a member of Mojo, a classic rock cover band. He is the lead guitarist and also handles lead and backing vocals. Mojo was preparing to play a few weekend gigs in Manhattan right before the covid pandemic shut things down in March 2020, which put the band on hold. The band resumed with socially distanced rehearsals in a very large studio room and in October 2020 Mojo performed in an outdoor gig with three other bands. The band hopes to play some clubs and bars in Manhattan and New Jersey in 2020 if opportunities arise.

For the band members, it’s not about making money for performing. All of the members are working professionals with full time jobs and a passion for music. The band is interested in donating a performance for worthy charities. If you know of any good cause that could use some rock music entertainment for a fundraiser, please send Scott a message by email. From a mobile device, you can also reach Scott by chat or text.
